Oh, my goodness! It's my first Sat Spanks, and our book comes out in less than a week. I'm excited and terrified!
It was hard to choose a spanking bit in this book that could be contained to eight lines nicely.
So in this bit, Danny and Phillip are getting ready to go to a dinner party. Danny has prepared a Tiramisu to take with them, and he's being a bit of a perfectionist about it, taking time to place each chocolate curl exactly right, instead of getting ready as he should be.
*****
Before he could reach it, Phillip grabbed him tightly around the waist, propped his leg up against the cabinet and bent Danny across his knee—right there in the kitchen. It happened so fast Danny didn’t have time to react.
“Go. Get. Ready!” Each word was punctuated with a thudding smack across the seat of his gray track pants. Just as quickly, he was let up, and whirled around to face a slightly annoyed Phillip. “I thought you said spanking was off the table!” He was surprised at how much force Phillip had managed to pack into those three swats. It took every ounce of restraint he had not to reach back and rub his stinging behind. It hurt a lot more in reality than it had as part of foreplay.

#WIPITUP-Delivered To Love comes out in one week!
Oh, my goodness! I can't believe that it's November. It seems like just yesterday that Thianna and I started plotting this book, and now here we are, one week away from its release!
In honor of it's upcoming release, let's steam things up a bit in here shall we? ( I totally can't take credit for this hot little snippet, as Thianna actually wrote it, but I will just leave it here for you to enjoy.)
*****
“I knew that would be a great image.”
Glancing around at the words, he grinned at the feral expression on Phillip’s face. There was no doubt the man was looking at his ass and unable to resist, Danny wiggled it back and forth. “You mean this?” he teased.
Blue eyes slid up his body until they looked into his own and his knees shook at the desire he saw inside them. “Every part of you is delectable, my boy, but your ass is simply a work of art. In fact, being a man of taste, I do believe I should observe it for a while.”
Danny snickered as he walked up and tied the apron. “Lie on the bed, face down and let me peruse this.” His hand grabbed one full butt cheek making Danny moan.
Eager for whatever Phillip had planned, he crawled up onto the bed, but as he stretched out his left arm so it was comfortable and went to lie flat, he was stopped.
“Hold on.” To his surprise, the man grasped his cock and slid it up against his belly. “Lie down.” As Danny’s hips landed on the bed, he realized his dick was now caught between him and the bed. At least if he needed some friction, he’d be able to get it. Crawling onto the bed behind him, Phillip straddled his legs. “Now, we don’t have a lot of time since our guests will be arriving in an hour. I want you to stay very still. Of course, we both know you have trouble doing that.”
His voice held amusement and Danny grinned, knowing he was right. Once Phillip started touching him, he’d be a gonner.
“Pfft!” Danny said with a laugh. “I can stay still.”
“Really? You, Daniel Lawrence, can stay still? Now that I would love to see.” A warm hand squeezed his right buttock making him moan and twitch. “Just for your information, that wasn’t staying still.”
“Fuck off.” The grin covering Danny’s face almost hurt, but he couldn’t stop himself. He loved it when the other man got playful. “Ooh, I get it,” Phillip said, his voice deep and husky, making Danny fidget as his shaft began to harden. “You want me to get off? I can do that. Your ass is definitely inspiration enough. But you need to hold still.”
“How the hell am I going to stay still?” It was just impossible. The moment the other man touched him, he’s wriggle uncontrollably. “Shall we make this a game?”

#WIPITUPWEDNESDAY- Delivered To Love-Who Knew?
Good Morning WIPIT-UPPERS!
I'm back with another sneak peek at my upcoming release- a book I co-wrote with Thianna Durston. It is for Season Four of Corbin's Bend, and releases early next month!
*****
“Have I told you how sexy you look in an apron?” Phillip wrapped his arms around Danny from behind and Danny melted into him happily. Their rocky morning had turned around fast, and they had had a fabulous time in Denver. The only downside was that the unexpected change in plans had cut into their schedule. Danny had to start cooking the minute they walked in the door if he wanted to be ready for their dinner party tonight, when all he really wanted to do was take Phillip back into the bedroom and cook up a little fun.
“You just like me for my lasagna,” Danny teased with a smile, as he popped the pasta dish into the oven.
“I assure you, I like you for plenty more reasons than just your lasagna,” Phillip whispered, nibbling on his neck. “Would you care for a demonstration?”
“Well…” Danny drew the word out longingly. “I might be tempted if you promise to help me with the salad and bread later.”
“Mmmm,” Phillip moaned in his ear. “Well, I’m no Daniel Lawrence, but I should be able to manage a salad pretty well. I’ll meet you in the bedroom in five? And Daniel, keep the apron on.”
“Keep the apron on.” The words resounded in Danny’s head as he darted out of the kitchen, running toward his bedroom. Dear God, what that man could do to him with just his words…let alone his hands and mouth. With his broken arm and cracked ribs, Phillip stood firm on not having sex quite yet, but as it turned out there were just so many other things to do. Who knew?

#WipitupWednesday #Corbinsbend #SeasonFour Waking up and Coming Out
I remembered to post 2 weeks in a row- and I cannot believe this book comes out next month!
A little longer excerpt for you today- as well as, coming later on- our cover reveal!

“Knock, knock.” The door swung open, and Danny was relieved to see the familiar face of Corbin’s Bend’s first doctor, Marcus Devon. Phillip frowned when he came in. “Where’s Dr. Franceaux?” Marcus smiled as he approached. “She went home. She figured Danny could use a familiar face right about now, so she’s letting me take over.”
“Hey, Welby, what’s the verdict? Am I dead?” He was feeling pretty good at the moment.
“As a doornail.” Dr. Devon gave him a goofy grin as he perused Danny’s chart with a frown. “First things first. How are you feeling?”
“Like I rolled my truck over a cliff before crashing into a giant wooden barrier.”
“Glad to hear it. It means your memory is working just fine.” The joking around helped put Danny at ease, but he couldn’t help but notice the disturbed look on his companion’s face. He rolled his eyes with a sour smile. Some people took themselves way too seriously. “As for the rest of you,” Dr. Devon continued, “your left arm is broken in two places. You may need surgery down the road, and in a few days we’ll need to get you into a more permanent cast after some of the swelling subsides. You’ve got the requisite scrapes and bruises but nothing too major in that regard. You presented us with symptoms of a concussion earlier, so we’ll be keeping you for a few days to monitor that, and make sure you don’t have any whiplash or anything. Last but not least, you managed to crack three of your ribs, so you’ll be a little sore for a while. Unfortunately, there is not much I can do about that. Although, I’m sure the morphine drip is helping for now.”
For the first time, Danny noticed the IV needle taped onto the top of his right hand, with tubes attaching it to a pole near the side of his bed. He looked at Dr. Devon in alarm. “I’m a bit overly sensitive to morphine,” he admitted sheepishly.
Marcus’s eyes narrowed darkly. “How sensitive?”
“Not allergic or anything,” Danny rushed to assure him. “It just hits me a bit harder than most.” “Hmmm. Well, that might explain a few things, such as why you’ve been out cold all day. You’ve been on a steady drip since you got here. I’ll get a nurse in here to replace these bags with a lower dosage. Is there anything else I should know?”
“Everybody’s orders are still in the truck on the side of the mountain, and the food is probably all spoiled by now?” “I’m pretty sure that was already taken care of, but I’ll double check.” Dr. Devon gave a swift nod, and tapped the folder he was holding on the edge of the bed. “Rest up. I have a feeling you’ll be swarmed with visitors tomorrow.”
The doctor made a sweeping gesture, and for the first time, Danny noticed the plethora of cards, gifts, balloons and flowers that covered every inch of the window ledge and most of the available counter space in the room. “Holy….” he exclaimed softly. “Where did all this come from?”
“It’s all from the residents. It seems you have a few fans. They were nearly rioting in the waiting room when we refused to give them details on your condition.”
Danny gaped at him, feeling a bit awestruck. He knew he loved the people here. He hadn’t realized that the feeling was more than mutual, until now. Their love for him filled the room, literally. Yet, all he could think was that his family wasn’t here. He considered asking Marcus if they had been called, but he was pretty sure he knew the answer. Swallowing hard to keep the tears at bay, he nodded, and watched silently as Dr. Devon left the room, leaving him alone with the handsome, and ever so serious, stranger.
Phillip regarded him silently from where he now sat on the easy chair in the corner of the room. “Are you all right? Can I get you anything?”
“A new family,” Danny mumbled under his breath. His eyelids were beginning to feel heavy again, and he could definitely feel the effects of the morphine.
Phillip sighed. “I’m sorry, what was that?” he asked, crossing the room to stand at his bedside once more.
“Nothing, don’t worry about it.” Danny smiled. “You know, you’re really handsome. It was nice waking up to you.” He winced. Even to him, his words sounded slurred. He waved his hand in front of him. “Sorry. Forget I said that. You’re not even my type.” Then he frowned. “I don’t know why I said that. I don’t even have a type, I think. I’ve only been gay for about a week.” Those were the last words he managed to get out before the morphine worked some more of its magic on him and the room went black.

A First Look #CorbinsBend #SeasonFour M/m #Wipitupwednesday
This is my very first blog post, my very first M/m book, and my very first WipitUp Wednesday! I'm so excited that I finally remembered to sign up in time! I write M/m romance, and for my very first project, I teamed up with my good friend, Thianna D Durston! Our book is coming out in November as part of Corbin's Bend Season Four, and I am so excited to get to share a snippet with you today!
Thianna also shared a snippet for this hop, and you can find it here.
Her snippet gives you a look at Phillip's first look at Daniel, who is unconscious at the time, after crashing his delivery truck. I figured for the sake of continuity, I would skip ahead only slightly and give you a glimpse of Danny's first look at Phillip.
*****
He heard a soft gasp from the other side of the room, and footsteps that seemed to be heading towards him. He wasn’t alone after all. The footsteps were flat and thuddy, unlike the melodic click he had heard earlier from what he could only assume were Laney’s favorite high heels. That told him that the fast approaching footsteps belonged to the smooth-tongued stranger he had been listening to earlier. Danny had to know who it was. He willed his eyes to open once more, and this time they co-operated.
“Hello, Danny.” The stranger leaned over him, only a few feet from his face. The first thing Danny noticed was his smile. It was dazzling, and his first thought was that it belonged on a toothpaste commercial. The rest of him wasn’t too shabby either, but it all paled in comparison when he flashed those dazzling pearly whites. He nodded, the slightest moment sent waves of pain rushing to his head. The stranger seemed to know this. “Don’t move. Don’t say anything. I’ve already called for the doctor.” He was only too happy to comply. His mouth was dry, and he had the sensation of sucking a cactus in the desert. Even holding his eyes open was painful, but he couldn’t tear himself away from staring at the handsome stranger standing over him. Tall, and lean, with dark hair, and the slightest of dimples—even through his impeccable suit, Danny could tell the man was no stranger to a good workout. If it was even possible, his throat went dryer than before. He swallowed thickly, and gazed into the stranger’s eyes, his own full of questions. The man touched a finger to his lips, once again motioning Danny not to speak. “I’m Phillip Scott, Danny. I’m the administrator here at Corbin’s Bend Medical Center. You’ve given all your friends here quite a scare, but you’re going to be okay.” Danny gasped as Phillip’s words sank in, and the morning events flashed to the forefront of his mind in slow-motion. Waking up in his car. Seeing Simon at the diner. The phone call from Davis. The unconscious man and the Honda Civic. The Corbin’s Bend sign. The man was looking at him expectantly still, and he managed a slight nod of understanding. The stranger, Phillip, smiled and gave a soft chuckle. “I can see by your reaction you know Corbin’s Bend. That’s a good sign.” “Hwsthsin?” Danny tried to speak, but it came out as a scratchy and hoarse jumble of gibberish. He needed water. Before he could look around the room, or try to make up some signal to convey his needs, the stranger was on it. Danny followed Phillip’s path with his eyes, and was relieved when he saw him heading towards the sink with a small brown pitcher. Phillip’s movements were assured and efficient. He opened and closed cabinets and drawers until he found what he was looking for. In no time at all he was standing near Danny’s
head with a small cup of cold water and a straw. Large, strong hands gripped the tiny straw, bending it towards his lips, so that Danny didn’t have to move his head from the pillow. “Small sips, now,” Phillip warned. The water was ice cold as it glided down his throat, making him feel slightly more human as the dryness melted away under the quenching of his thirst. As he drank, he took the opportunity to further drink in the sight of the man before him, from a much closer angle now. The close-up view was even better than the original.
